November 2, 2005 - Corzine Leads Forrester By 12 Points In New Jersey, Quinnipiac University Poll Finds; Democrat Inches Ahead On Property Tax, Corruption
Democratic U. S. Sen. Jon Corzine leads Republican Douglas Forrester 50 - 38 percent among likely voters in the race for Governor of New Jersey, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today. Nine percent are undecided.
This compares to a 50 - 43 percent Corzine lead among likely voters in an October 19 poll by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University.
